Attention PQA Level III Educators:
In late April, you should have received notice that the PQA Plus program will
replace PQA Level III effective June 7, 2007.
To certify producers in the PQA Plus program, you must attend a PQA Plus
Advisor training session with a PQA Plus Trainer and successfully pass an
examination. PQA Plus Advisor certification is valid for three years.

Attention Youth PQA Plus Educators:
On June 1, 2008 and after a one-year phase-in period that began in June 2007,
Youth PQA Plus will completely replace Youth PQA as the food safety, antibiotic
use and animal well-being awareness and education program for youth pork
producers of ages eight to 18.
On June 1, 2008, Youth PQA Plus will be the only program available for youth
producer certification. The program mirrors the content of the industry's adult
program Pork Quality Assurance PlusT, or PQA PlusT, but presents it in a format
conducive to the learning of youth.
To certify youth in Youth PQA Plus, you must attend Youth PQA Plus
certification training with a Youth PQA Plus Advisor and pass an examination.
